Complete makeover of Swan Neck Conveyors
One of our recent enquiries was for No.3 custom built swan neck conveyors as our customer believed his existing conveyors were beyond economical repair or improvement. Following quotations, we suggested to our client to consider a complete overhaul as this option would be far more cost effective.
Overhaul was set to motion and our engineers began the complete make over in our workshop.
- All rollers were replaced with steel ones
- All sidewall flighted belts were replaced with new ones
- All castors were upgraded to heavy duty ones
- All guards were fabricated and replaced on swan neck conveyors
The repair cost of this project was substantially less and our customer was overjoyed with what looked like a brand new conveyors!
All conveyors were returned and commissioned during the factory shutdown.
Our efficiency and expertise on this project has resulted in the potential of more conveyors being overhauled during the next shutdown.
